Gas-Oil LLC – the founder of 12 subsidiary companies. Among them – a commercial project, which was build in conjunction with the Kaliningrad sea trading port - the terminal for the transshipment of bulk fertilizers, Terminal GMB CJSC.

Characteristics and terminal possibilities:

  • Terminal GMB CJSC has experience in the following transshipment of mineral fertilizers: carbamide, urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, potassium chloride, NPK, NP, MAP, DAP.
  • The potential of the terminal - 600 000 tons per year.
  • Located in the territory of the Kaliningrad sea trading port.

Technical characteristics of a cargo handling complex:

  • Handling equipment conforms to the latest technical and ecological requirements, delivered and installed by specialists of Danish company «Videbaek Maskinfabrik» - worldwide leader in the construction of similar facilities. Also it is possible to overload two lines at once, having on 10 and 14 conveyors, with the conveyor belt width 800 mm, producing 300 tons per hour. Overloading all types of fertilizers in two ways - «wagon-warehouse-vessel», or «wagon-vessel». Possible supply from the wagon bunker of a conveyor line № 2, as well as supplying with a mixing plant for the manufacture of multicomponent fertilizers. Commercial rate of an unloading, taking into account wagons supplying - 3,000 tons per day each.
  • There is no need to move the ship along the quay, when loading of fertilizers on a vessel, unlike other transshipment complexes.
  • Packing fertilizers complex in big-bags (500 and 1000 kg), capacity of 800 tons / day, precision weighing - 2 kg. The packing station has 2 filling bunkers on 1 cubic m and 2 weighing bunkers on 1,5 cubic meters.

Warehouse space:

  • Closed warehouse of type «Molodechno», a total area of 4,043 sq.m, metal, covered, concrete floor, walls and roof - corrugated tin. Warehouse capacity - 12 000 MT in three compartments of three different kinds of fertilizers.
  • The first compartment - 6,000 Mt, the second - 2,800 Mt, the third - 3000 Mt.
  • Warehouse capacity while keeping one kind of mineral fertilizers with the same customer - 14 000 Mt.

Description of the pier and its location:

  • Pier is located on the left bank of the river Pregolya. The length of the pier is 200 meters. The maximum permissible draft of ship berth – 8 meters.
  • The shortest distance to the western ports compared with the other Baltic ports.
  • Ice-free port.

Description of the railway infrastructure, the amount received and unloaded wagons with mineral fertilizers:

  • The maximum length of the route, arriving in Kaliningrad – 50 wagons. The maximum length of the train accepted on a railway access road – 35 wagons, by weight of 2,450 tons, of which 26 wagons (4 wagons - in group) on the hopper № 2 and 9 wagons on the hopper № 1. Unfolded length of railway track for not general using 1,068.66 m.
  • There are 2 hopers for unloading of arriving wagons. Unloading time of 1 wagon – 22 minutes. Processing of one route in approximately 50 wagons 27-34 hours. A daily average unloading – up to 50 wagons.

  • The maximum vessel length – 170 meters.
  • The maximum vessel width – 25 meters.
  • Maximum vessel's draft - 8 meters.
  • Мaximum height of the water level to the edge of the coaming of hold – 10,5 meters.
